5 unmissable celebrity weddings

We all have our dream wedding Pinterest boards, filled with elegant wedding dresses, colour schemes and décor inspiration. But, where do celebrities get their inspiration? Do they also make Pinterest boards? Or do they leave it completely to their wedding planner?

Given the recent pandemic, most summer 2020 weddings are having to be postponed. So, let’s take a look in to the ultimate celebrity weddings of 2019.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner

Now, this ceremony was everything other than minimalistic. Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and renowned Jonas Brothers lead, Joe Jonas eloped in Las Vegas, very rock and roll! Then followed by a beautiful ceremony with their closest family and friends in a France Château, giving their wedding a European theme.

Following their exciting wedding in Laz Vegas, representing both of their vibrant personalities. The two opted for a traditional wedding, with crisp white flowers and an elegant and traditional Louis Vuitton Dress hosting a gorgeous cut out back, lace sleeves and embellished skirt.

Demonstrating the love of traditional wedding trends.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney

The Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence married her handsome fiancé Cooke Maroney, in Rhode Island, USA – leaving the media stunned by the lack of exposure and coverage of this last-minute ceremony. Wearing a simple Marilyn Monroe style Dior dress, Jennifer Lawrence embraced a 1920’s inspired gown. Not to mention the sensational wedding rings, a gorgeous and detailed large rock blessed her hands as the two said their vows. Simply beautiful.

Maintaining their traditional theme throughout, Lawrence opted for vintage style cocktails and canapes, followed by a seasonal food variation of Pork Belly, Sweet Potato and Salmon. Inevitably, cooked to perfection! Seasonal food options have been said to offer a more enjoyable eating experience, this also contributes to the ambience and 1920s theme.

Hailey Baldwin (Bieber) and Justin Bieber

American model, Hailey Baldwin and renowned music artist Justin Bieber tied the knot, with a classic and elegant ceremony. Following their civil service in New York in 2018. The Biebers rings were a pair of gorgeous Tiffany and co. petite bands, pictured beautifully in their photo booth type announcement photos.

Bieber wanted a religious affair to stay true to his Christian families beliefs. A scatter of biodegradable petals filled their aisle, representing the purity and elegance before the eyes of god. Hailey wore a stunning, Virgil Abloh off the shoulder, lace dress with long sleeves. Accompanied by a simple veil reading ‘till death do us part’ at the bottom. It is becoming more common for brides have a selection of dresses to wear throughout the day and Hailey’s did not disappoint. Going from an elegant lace gown to a gorgeous silk halter neck with a slit up the one leg.

Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre
