BIODEGRADABLE PETAL ADVICE

Are your petals biodegradable?

All our freeze dried petals are biodegradable so you can wedding or celebrate your event with peace of mind, as the petals will naturally biodegrade when subject to the elements. If you are using the petals outdoors, there is no need to clean up or dispose of the petals, they’re like flowers in a garden, they will naturally biodegrade on their own.

Wedding and event venues recommend only using biodegradable petal confetti as it’s environmentally friendly and they don’t need to clean up after your celebration. If you’re not sure if your venue allow real petal confetti, order a petal sample delivered to your door and discuss it with them at your next appointment. Our petals are highly recommended by venues and real couples.

How long do the petals last?

Our petals appear to look like fresh flower petals, but they are actually carefully dried with state-of-the-art freeze drier facilities in the UK. This means they will hold their stunning colour and shape for up to 3 months, which is far longer than fresh flowers.

How is biodegradable confetti made?

All our rose and hydrangea petals are sourced from around the world to ensure only the best quality flowers are used. We then freeze dry flowers on site in the UK and de-petal them by hand especially for you . During the freeze drying process moisture is carefully removed which dramatically slows down their ageing process, meaning you can enjoy them for longer.
