The Colour Scheme
Donna and Matt’s colour scheme comprised of pastel blue and delicate champagne pinks to create a palette the complimented the venue and encapsulates the zeitgeist of the time. This pastel colour palette has been beautifully mirrored through all elements of the big day, including the use of flowers, tablescaping, décor and attire.
The Venue – The Savoy Hotel
Talk about a glamourous reception venue. The Savoy in London, is known for its high-end qualities as it attracts people from all over the country and afar. The reception hall was transformed into a magical haven filled with extraordinary floral displays, personalised touches and a pretty marvelous bar!
The Hired Bar
WOW, what can we say here, Invisible Blue UK certainly brought the party to the wedding, this luminous bar brings both sophistication and fun all at once. We love the attention to detail as Donna and Matt’s initials were wrapped around the bar to add an extra layer of personalistion.
Donna and Matt also chose some amazing cocktails for their reception drinks, matching their décor! Such a special and unique addition to their reception.
The Flowers – Floral Architecture at its Best
When you imagine wedding flowers, you want them to be extra special, the most incredible flowers you’ve ever seen, something to keep your guests thinking about for years. Hayford and Rhodes certainly met the brief when they curated the floral masterpieces for Donna and Matt’s Day.
The flowers were nothing short of spectacular! The centre piece was a beautiful large floral arch filled with cascading baby blue hydrangeas, delicate blush pink roses, cornflower blue thistles, and captivating dahlias. The venue was brought to life with rows of flowers drapped around the Georgian pillars, creating a secret garden vibe to dream about. This effortless floral look showcases the incredible skill and expertise of the team at Hayford and Rhodes.
Take as much inspiration from this as you desire, whether you plan to mirror the magnificence on display within your chosen venue. Or if you wish to mimic a scaled-down version that is just as delightful. You really can be as bold as you wish when it comes to the flowers on your wedding day.
Which Biodegradable Confetti Mix Did They Choose?
After careful consideration, the happy couple opted for our Summer mix freeze-dried petals. This mix perfectly encapsulated their colour scheme. Summer Mix is a combination of blue hydrangeas, cream rose petals and dusky pink rose petals. This confetti mix worked seamlessly with the accents of pinks within their wedding décor, and what a wonderful confetti moment captured on camera forever! Donna and Matt chose to have a traditional confetti moment with their guests outside the doors of their venue, The Savoy.
