Introducing our brand-new exclusive real rose petal confetti mix, Blushing Pink; it’s a stunning combination of dusky pink, cream and bold hot pink freeze dried rose petals. This luxurious mix will pair perfectly with a pastel, blush or white summer wedding theme as the variety of colours stand out and add the most beautiful pop of colour to your summer wedding photographs.
Perfect for throwing confetti, scattering down the aisle, adding to flower girl baskets or table decor. Like all our petals these stunning freeze-dried petals appear to look like beautiful fresh petals and hold their stunning colour and shape far longer than fresh flowers.
Summer wedding season brings with it pretty themes, dreamy weather and luscious blooms, it’s no wonder it is the most popular time of the year for couples to say ‘I do’. With many wedding celebrations in July and August you will want your big day to be memorable, wow your guests by adding some of the following touches to your summer celebration.
Wedding Ceremony Ideas
Petal Pathway
Outdoor summer wedding ceremonies are divine, make the most of the space and create an enchanted petal path leading to your all-important ceremony back drop. The size of the aisle will depend on how much petal confetti you will need for your petal path. For the perfect coverage set the requirements on our petal calculator.
Add a romantic touch to your summer wedding by having a flower girl walk ahead with a petal basket gently scattering an array of petals at your feet down the aisle. Use our Pick and Mix petals to select up to 5 different rose or hydrangea petal colours to create your unique petal combination.
Top Tip: Scattering petals down the aisle is a great idea if you need a way to get more friends involved in your special day. Drew Barrymore scattered petals for RuPaul’s Drag Race Judge, Ross Mathews, recent wedding. Drew looked a vision in the photographs and did an amazing job with the petals.
Confetti Station
Have a designated area at your ceremony for the real petal confetti, this will work with any theme and will be a fabulous addition to your outdoor wedding. You could opt to have a selection of chic Confetti Display Boxes or Luxury Confetti Cone boxes. You can choose from a range of perfectly sized confetti cones to showcase the confetti to your guests, one cone per guest is ideal.
What is great about the cones they will keep the guests from crushing the perfect freeze dried petals in their hands when waiting for the confetti throw to happen.
Complete the confetti station with a ‘throw me’ sign, this could be a modern gold frame, a chic acrylic sign, grand mirror or a rustic chalk board depending on the style of your day.
Summer Wedding Décor
Showstopping Tablescapes
It’s summer so embrace bright colours when it comes to your place cards and menus. Compliment the card stock with pastel tapered candles dotted between summer blooms and green foliage. Placed on top of crisp white tablecloths and pale pastel runners will create elegant summer centerpieces. Add a generous scattering of Blush Rose Petals along the top of each of your guests place setting for a simple look but effective look.
Wedding Cake or Champagne Tower?
Why not give your guests both? There is no better combo. A champagne tower will add a touch of glamour to your outdoor wedding, opting to pour the champagne into the tower yourself will make for a fantastic photo opportunity while impressing your guests in the process.
A slice of a summer citrus wedding cake and a glass of Moet to wash it down, that’s summer wedding perfection right there.
Signature Wedding Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is becoming a thing and something we will be seeing more of in 2023.
Decide on when to schedule your cocktail hour and serve your guests up a refreshing Aperol Spritz (nothing screams summer quite like it) in a balloon glass filled with ice. Three parts prosecco, two parts Aperol, one part soda and a garnish of orange slice, they are by no means complicated but a table of these thirst-quenching bevy’s surrounded by pretty summer flowers will look dreamy and will certainly get your guests in the mood for a night on the dance floor.
When to Order Wedding Confetti
Our petals will hold their stunning colour and shape for up to 3-4 months. Make sure to order your wedding confetti within 4 months of your wedding date, and keep them looking their best by storing them away from heat, moisture and light.
